Why Icefish 2014 will be a sell out

With only a handful of stands remaining and over six months to go until the Icelandic Fisheries Exhibition opens its doors in Kopavogur, we take a look back at exhibitor feedback from the 2011 event.

"We sold all the machinery we had for sale "and more! I think Eimskip will need to buy a new freighter to move all the equipment we've sold!
Jóhann ólafur Ársælsson, Manager, Ásafl ehf

"As organiser of the Norwegian pavilion we are highly satisfied with IFE. After the financial meltdown in 2008, the IFE 2011 showed a confident market in strong growth with good results for our Norwegian exhibitors. IFE 2014 will be an important forum at which to meet new suppliers as well as to strengthen relationships with existing customers."
Kjell Dehli, Exhibition director, Scanexpo AS

"The Icelandic Fisheries Exhibition has from the first exhibition in 1984, been a major meeting point for Marel and the Icelandic seafood industry. It's an opportunity to meet professionally and socially and as such is one of our most important exhibitions."
Petur Gudjonsson, Managing Director, Intl Sales and Services Network, Marel

"We would like to thank the organisers who put on a great show and, overall, a brilliant exhibition. Akvaservis gained many benefits from the exhibition in terms of networking with co-exhibitors, making new contacts and gaining new business. It was well worth our while attending and we are looking forward to return in 2014 for sure!"
Viktor Zincenko, Manager Director, Akvaservis Ltd. Lithuania

"Having been exhibiting at Icefish since 1984, for Hampidjan, Icefish is the number one exhibition. It is always well organised with new and current customers attending. We are looking forward to the next exhibition and to meeting all our customers old and new, see you all there!"
Haraldur Árnason, Sales and Marketing Director, Hampidjan Iceland

"The Icefish exhibition is a very good place for a new player, like Volta, in the Icelandic Fish industry to meet potential customers. This show for sure helped us to move further in both marketing and sales."
Jessie van Dort, Regional Sales Manager, Volta Belting Europe

"We have exhibited at IFE since the first show in 1984 and it ranks as one of the most important exhibitions we attend. The show is a fantastic platform for maintaining our existing customer relationships as well as establishing new ones."
Hilmar Gudmundsson, Sales & Marketing Director, Promens Dalvik ehf

The 2011 exhibition attracted 13,547 attendees from 52 countries, an increase of 8% on the 2008 exhibition. Space is extremely limited, if you would like to exhibit, please contact Jo Miller today on +44 1329 825335 or email jmiller@mercatormedia.com.
