IceFish exhibition talks international language of business

Day two of the Icelandic Fisheries Exhibition saw a record number of visitors through the door and a busy and productive day for exhibitors.

Turkey - Celiktrans Deniz Ins Ltd Sti  (Celiktrans Shipbuilding), an exhibitor at the Icelandic Fisheries Exhibition, has been contracted to build new pelagic vessels for HB Grandi. Their stand was extremely busy during the day with back to back meetings.

Belgium - Bekina NV is a manufacturer of polyurethane, non-slip safety boots for professional fishers worldwide. Their quality boots have generated both interest and sales during the day.

Norway - Roxtec, is a global manufacturer and supplier of cable and pipe seal systems with Multidiameter™ for adaptability to cables and pipes of different sizes. It is based on rubber modules and bodies with removable layers

Morten Aursand, Key Account Manager said "We have had a positive experience at this event with business going well. It has been an added advantage for us that our key customers are shipyards and the gas sector and our stand is opposite many of these companies!"

Ida Sigvardsson-Peters, Marketing said "the Icelandic Fisheries Exhibition is a good event for us to exhibit at because it is an exhibition where groups of people from the same company come to the stand. This means that a Managing Director and a Chief Engineer visit together and they can view the product from their own perspective to make a decision."

With offices and warehouses all around the world and a large variety of microwave components and electronics in stock, we are able to satisfy even the most urgent needs on time. Their biggest market is in Spain but they sell worldwide and are looking to branch into the Icelandic market.
