Exhibition to be opened by Minister of Fisheries and Agriculture and Mayor of Kópavogur

Following the Opening Ceremony, VIPs will be taken on a tour of the exhibition, where they will visit a number of the exhibition stands to see the latest innovations on display.

The Opening ceremony of the 2014 Icelandic Fisheries Exhibition will take place on 25 September 2014. The Exhibition will be officially opened by Sigurður Ingi Jóhannsson, Icelandic Minister of Fisheries and Agriculture and Ármann ólafsson, the Mayor of Kópavogur.

Following the ceremony, all VIPs will take a guided tour of the exhibition, in order to meet exhibitors and view the products and services on display.

The 2011 exhibition attracted 13,547 attendees from 52 countries, an increase of 8% on the 2008 exhibition.
